Solidarity to Volturno33 under danger of eviction! Since via volturno33 was squatted we followed the project with sincere interest, first of all because we know the bad conditions of students life in a hostile city, and in general how difficult it is to survive with dignity in milan for normal people that cannot afford to pay a rent altough they have a job, they don’t fit in the image of the powerful and corrupted lobbies of this city want to give. The right to have a dignitous home and alternative place where to meet and share different experiences is once again violated in the name of money and speculation. This tendency is at least to find everywhere in europe, it doesn’t matter if it is copenhagen, barcellona, berlin or milano, every left project is in danger of eviction. Once again they will attack us with huge repression in order to protect their interests, they will try to break our dream of liberating spaces for our basic needs and we know that they will not recognize us and our work, because if they would, they would put their system in question, they would admit that we don’t need them to live better our lives. They evicted the ungdomhused/jagd 69 in copenhagen that was a house of the people (casa del popolo) and now in milano the former headquarter of the comunist party, both buildings were squatted by the need of the people to be not slaves of this society, and both of them are not welcome!We came to milano as activists and as artists and were hosted with love and respect. Both qualities are missing in a city like this. That’s why we support every action that will be started to prevent the eviction! In our hearts and actions we are together with the people of volturno and in general with the people of the isola neighborhood which are fighting for a dignitous place where to live, and that’s why we will bring to berlin this message with solidarity banners and actions to sensibilize the activists that will show solidarity to the köpi on this Saturday the 16. of june.We will also be there to denounce the police repression before, during and after the anti- g8 meeting in and around rostock, to show solidarity with the arrested antifascists on the 11. of march of last year in milano, the liebigstr. project and the rigaerstr94, with the arrested people of the 9. of june in rome against the visit of bush in rome and the centro sociale la chimica of verona fighting against the new fascist mayor tosi and his threatings of eviction! For the selfdetermination of the people! Against the occupations! Fuck imperialism!
